Growing up in a household focused on service to others set Dr. York up perfectly for a career in higher education and student affairs. Dr. York’s professional career has been intentionally broad enough to allow him ample opportunities to support students in many different functional areas. The breadth of his experience has given him the unique perspective of being able to see how decisions in the smallest office can cause waves across an institution.

Dr. York has over 15 years of professional experience in higher education and student affairs in a diverse array of functional areas including, student conduct, student activities and engagement, civic learning, service-learning, campus recreation, and residential life & housing.
